Requirements
- 5+ years of HR experience, with a focus on strategic HR program functions, business partnering and a track record of driving business outcomes
- HR Business Partner (HRBP) experience or HR Leadership experience, specifically in collaborating with senior leadership and department heads to align HR strategies with business goals
- Experience in global HR compliance, with a solid understanding of local and international employment laws for employees, contractors, and freelancers
- Experience in Remote-First Cultures – Proven ability to maintain a positive, inclusive culture for remote teams, ensuring employees and contractors stay engaged, productive, and have an exceptional experience
- Experience in Implementing and Improving HR Programs, including onboarding/offboarding, training and development, mentoring, engagement/retention, compliance, feedback/conflict resolution, and HRIS optimization
- Proficiency with HRIS software, including a strong understanding of its features and automation functions. Ideally, you’ve worked with a few HRIS systems in the past
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Strong data-driven mindset, with expertise in HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and measure HR program effectiveness
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Leadership – Partner with senior leadership to define and execute HR strategies aligned with company goals and values, using clear targets and OKRs
- Ensure Global Compliance – Oversee compliance and policy development in accordance with local and global employment laws
- Business Partner to Production and Department Leads – Provide expert guidance to the VP of Production and other department leads on adhering to compliance standards and HR best practices. Focus on improving key areas like feedback processes, employee relations, development plans, and policy adherence to optimize team performance and drive organizational success
- Develop and Roll Out HR Training Programs – Design and implement comprehensive training programs and reference materials to educate the team on HR standards. Ensure consistent communication and effective rollouts of new initiatives, updates, or changes to policies and procedures to maintain alignment and promote a culture of continuous learning
- Create Data-Driven HR Programs – Define clear HR objectives, roll-out programs, collect feedback, track progress, and deliver impactful, data-driven results
- Develop Retention Strategy – Analyse engagement surveys and partner with leads to implement changes that boost employee satisfaction and retention
- Review and Improve Onboarding & Development – Evaluate and enhance onboarding processes and employee development plans to ensure an exceptional experience from day one and continuous growth throughout their career with us
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Lead – Leverage information on team skill gaps, collaborating with the Talent Acquisition Lead to develop and execute workforce plans and onboarding strategies that align with business needs and growth goals
- Mentor and Develop HR Team Member – Guide and support a team member responsible for overseeing and executing key HR programs, fostering their leadership growth and ensuring effective implementation and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Education in Human Resources is strongly preferred
- Experience in the Video Game Industry is strongly preferred
