Summary
Join BeyondTrust as VP, Sales and lead a sales team to drive new business growth and establish BeyondTrust as the market leader for Privileged Access Management solutions. Develop and manage a successful sales organization, achieve revenue goals, and strategically address business development challenges. Build the pipeline for organic growth, provide accurate forecasting, and drive strategic planning for bids and proposals. Build relationships with cross-functional teams, maintain market understanding, and assume accountability for revenue growth. Direct, develop, and coach the team, identify business process adjustments, and participate in industry events.
Requirements
- 10+ yearsβ progressive experience in a Senior Leadership role with a proven background of success in leading teams to achieve growth targets
- Prior sales experience with security software solutions
- Strong established relationships among key influencers within the region and within the cyber security industry
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build win-win partnerships within a firm/corporation, with a focus on understanding how to leverage technology differentiators
- Demonstrated ability to identify emerging business trends resulting in strategy recommendations to senior management
- The ability to constructively influence and interact at the highest levels of the corporate structure, including Board level
- Excellent communication skills and highly effective interpersonal skills are required as well as an ability to inspire confidence and provide business development leadership throughout the company
- Proven ability to drive complex sales process from initiation through negotiation to the conclusion of successful agreements
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a successful sales organization that delivers exceptional results; achieve revenue goals in all markets
- Strategically and efficiently address business development challenges by developing and executing sound internal processes from the ground up, and leading teams to achieve targets
- Recommend and acquire key resources necessary to enable success in the target market
- Build the pipeline for organic growth by ensuring excellence in the planning and delivery of full life cycle business development activities
- Provide timely and accurate forecasting of developing opportunities, pipeline, and revenue on a quarterly basis
- Drive strategic planning, management and direction of bid and proposal resources, target identification, capture strategies, proposal management, contract award, and customer relations
- Provide the critical linkage between the long-term strategic plan of the company and near-term new business actions within the region
- Build relationships with Marketing, Sales Operations, Legal, Finance and Product teams to support closing new business
- Maintain a high level of understanding of the market landscape, competitive insights, consumer trends across markets and use knowledge to advance sales strategies and communicate to the field
- Assume comprehensive accountability for revenue growth and profit margins consistent with corporate objectives
- Direct, develop and provide coaching and mentorship
- Identify and recommend business process adjustments
- Participate in industry events/organizations as a though leader and promote products/solutions at conferences, forums and seminars
- Operate within expense and program budgets
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cyber security and privilege access management preferred
