Summary
Join Brafton as a Web Projects Lead, a key member of the UX team, leading website redesign projects remotely from British Columbia or Alberta. This full-time contract position requires combining client and industry research with web best practices to create user-friendly websites. You will examine site analytics, develop site navigation, review content, design website content using various platforms, and ensure alignment with client branding. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is crucial, along with leading project organization and process adherence. Additional responsibilities may include UX, market research, and brand consultancy projects. The role focuses on task execution and consultancy project support under the supervision of the Chief Services Officer.
Requirements

- Have knowledge of the evolving digital search landscape and content marketing
- Have knowledge of website design and UX best practices
- Have technical knowledge of WordPress and other widely used CMS
Responsibilities
- Examine site analytics and apply insights when devising website redesign strategy
- Develop and refine site navigation and information architecture
- Review and provide a Keep-Update-Delete analysis on all content on a given website, based on the client's and website's strategic goals
- Design/build website content using pagebuilding tools and platforms such as Elementor, WPBakery, Hubspot, Webflow, and others
- Review and provide feedback on mockups, with a particular focus on UX and CRO
- Ensure the new website aligns with and leverages client branding and messaging
- Clearly and authoritatively communicate around requirements and action items with both internal and external stakeholders
- Lead (along with the Project Manager) on the organization and process-adherence necessary to enable a smooth website redesign project
- Develop or contribute to user journey mapping
- Ideate on and implement A/B testing and multivariate testing
- Develop brand messaging and positioning for organizations and/or their products and services
- Perform other independent tasks that may be delegated by senior members of the team
- Create surveys and analyze data
- Develop personas - conduct interviews and summarize findings
- Consult on brand messaging, product naming, style guidance
- Review, analyze and provide recommendations around YouTube channel optimization, with a focus on branding, customer journey and CRO
- Execute on assigned deliverables, with the close supervision and support of the Chief Services Officer (CSO)
- Work under deadline pressure to produce quality, on-brand and on-spec work
- Collaborate with other members of the design and development teams as part of the website redesign process
- Collaborate with other team members as part of the consulting team's deliverable peer-review process
- Collaborate closely with other consultants and colleagues to understand our prospects' and clients' needs, as well as the details of each assigned task
- Perform UX and technical site analysis β both strategic and technical
- Carefully track projects in Brafton's project management application
- Communicate on live projects with all involved team members to ensure clarity and adherence to deadlines
- Ensure that everything we deliver is in-line with the client's expectations and meets our internal standards for quality
- Assist other team members with information synthesis, formatting and report proofing as directed by the CSO
- Explore and develop new service offerings, with the support of managers and senior colleagues
- Work to understand and gain insights into industry trends and standards around data analysis and reporting, lead generation, design best practice and content marketing in general
- Collaborate with senior members of staff to develop strong in-house knowledge stores, policies and processes
- Work closely with Brafton's development team, CMS, production teams and other departments, as is helpful, toward the timely and successful completion of these tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Have a Bachelorβs degree
- Have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience
