Summary
The job is for a Systems Manager at Side, a real estate startup that offers brokerage-as-a-service. The role involves managing the Workday product roadmap, ensuring proper testing and deployment practices, and serving as a mentor to financial systems stakeholders. Requirements
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience
- Workday ERP / HCM implementation expertise
- 5+ years of experience managing large scale, multi-pillar ERP and HCM implementation
- Candidate has a strong understanding of Accounting and Finance business processes
- Demonstrated experience acting as the liaison between business and IT stakeholders with communication skills to speak appropriately to both parties
- 4 years of Workday Financials experience
- Experience in full life-cycle project development including requirements, design, development, testing and roll-out
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing a business issue and developing a future state recommendation
- Ability to set agendas and facilitate meetings, while focusing in on critical path discussion topics and necessary decisions
- Experience creating training/user documentation
- Ability to self-manage tasks
- Exposure to project related work and standard software implementation artifacts
- Ability to work with teams to uncover, define and document business processes and align them to system processes
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work remotely and independently in support of clients and team members
Responsibilities
- Management of cross functional projects
- Tracking project milestones and communicating status to both internal teams and external teams during weekly meetings
- Providing support creating approach and materials for Workday involving both business and technical stakeholders
- Providing support, gathering business requirements, and translating into design options
- Documenting/defining processes to show where business and system processes align
- Design and development of end-user training materials and communication plans
- Establishing βtrain the trainerβ model and supporting the execution of the training
- Development of user acceptance testing plans/scripts as well as facilitating various testing cycles
- Coordinating roll-out activities
- Defining post production support model and coordinating the hand-off between internal teams
- Prepare and facilitate Steering Committee presentations
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Workday documentation for future reference
- Identify and manage potential project risks associated with Workday implementations or upgrades
- Generate reports and dashboards to monitor system performance and provide data-driven insights for business decisions
- Ad-hoc presentations for the business as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data management, security protocols, and user access controls within Workday is a plus
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into Workday configurations
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools for Workday is a plus
Benefits
$140,000 - $170,000 a year
