Summary

Join YouGov's HR team as an experienced Workday Support Specialist to contribute to our digital transformation initiatives. You will play a key role in supporting the implementation and ongoing maintenance of our Workday HR system, with a go-live date in July 2025. This critical role involves testing, reviewing configurations, training, data analysis, reporting, and building stakeholder relationships. You will configure, maintain, and support the Workday platform to meet YouGov's needs, streamlining HR processes and enhancing the employee experience. The position requires proficiency in Workday's reporting tools, business process configuration, security administration, and integration skills. A solid understanding of HR processes and best practices is essential.

Requirements

  • Reporting and Analytics: Proficiency in Workday's reporting tools, including creating custom reports and dashboards
  • Business Process Configuration: Knowledge of how to set up and manage business processes within Workday, including approvals and workflows
  • Security Administration: Understanding of Workday's security model, including user roles, permissions, and data access
  • Integration Skills: Familiarity with Workday integration tools (e.g., Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder) and basic understanding of integration concepts
  • Data Management: Skills in data import/export processes and managing data integrity within Workday
  • Workday Expertise: Comprehensive Understanding of Workday's core modules - Absence Management coupled with either Performance Management or Advanced Compensation and their configuration
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing data and identifying trends
  • Problem-Solving: Strong skills in problem-solving and troubleshooting
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Basic HR Knowledge: A solid understanding of HR processes and best practices to effectively support end-users
  • User Support Skills: Effective communication skills to assist users and provide training as needed
  • Diligence: Sharp focus on detail to ensure data accuracy

Responsibilities

  • System Configuration: Tailoring Workday to align with YouGov’s HR policies, processes, and reporting needs
  • Data Management: Ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of data within the Workday system
  • Security Management: Implementing and maintaining measures to safeguard employee information
  • Reporting and Analytics: Creating and maintaining reports that offer insights into HR metrics and trends
  • Integration Management: Connecting Workday with other systems, including payroll, benefits, and time and attendance
  • Change Management: Overseeing changes to the Workday system, including testing, implementation, and communication
  • User Support: Assisting employees and managers in navigating and using Workday effectively
  • Vendor Management: Managing relationships with third-party vendors that provide Workday support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Workday in a post-go-live environment
  • Workday certification (Desirable)
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure
  • Strong understanding of HR functions and business processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
