Summary
Join a globally integrated IT organization and work on impactful projects across multiple continents. This contract opportunity is fully remote and involves modernizing retail workforce systems. As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy features for Workforce Management systems, build integrations, and support a global workforce. You will collaborate with various teams and contribute to architecture, performance, and system availability strategies. This role offers both challenge and growth, playing a key role in delivering modern, scalable solutions supporting thousands of associates across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
Requirements
- 5β10 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer
- Strong experience with UKG Pro WFM (required)
- Experience developing integrations using UKG Boomi (required)
- Knowledge of Kronos WIM and UKG Pro system configuration (required)
- Proficiency in SaaS/cloud practices and middleware tools (Boomi, Apigee, MOVEit)
- Experience with SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or other databases
- Proficiency in Agile and DevOps tools (GitLab, JIRA, SonarQube, Confluence)
- Strong problem-solving skills and collaboration across global teams
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy features for Workforce Management systems
- Build integrations using UKG Boomi and Kronos Workforce Integration Manager
- Configure, monitor, and maintain UKG Pro WFM systems and associated services
- Collaborate with Solution Engineers, Product Owners, and global engineering teams
- Contribute to architecture, performance, and system availability strategies
- Evaluate new technologies and participate in system demos and roadmap development
- Support DevOps processes including CI/CD, code reviews, and version control
- Ensure compliance with corporate security and operational standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with UKG Pro WFM Time & Attendance, ATK, Schedule Optimization
- Knowledge of Workday, Oracle HRIS integration with UKG systems
- Familiarity with retail business processes and global workforce systems
- Object-Oriented Design experience
