Join Sonar's Workplace Experience team as the manager, leading a team of 7 across 6 offices and 2 co-working spaces. You will ensure seamless daily operations, including maintaining pleasant workspaces, planning events, managing reception, and providing travel support. A key focus is strategic innovation, benchmarking against leading companies, and implementing high-impact projects. You will report to the VP of Operations and collaborate with HR, IT, finance, and leadership. The ideal candidate possesses a customer-centric mindset, 10+ years of relevant experience (hospitality experience a plus), proven team management skills, and a proactive, innovative approach. Requirements
- A deep-seated customer-centric mindset, with a passion for creating an exceptional employee experience
- +10 years of experience in a related position ; experience in the hospitality industry and a fast-paced scale-up is a strong plus
- Proven team management experience with a focus on empowering your team, delegating effectively, and helping others grow professionally
- Driven by the quality of service provided and an unwillingness to settle for less
- The ability to think outside of the box, challenge the status quo, and propose new ideas
- A dynamic, energetic, and resilient attitude to tackle daily challenges with positivity
- A fluent level of English is mandatory; French is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead and Empower the Team (Run Operations) You will ensure the team masters and seamlessly executes daily operations. Your role is to lead, empower, and delegate, overseeing all core activities including
- Pleasant Workplace Experience : Ensuring offices are clean and healthy , all non-IT devices are running smoothly , and supplies are stocked. This also includes strategic planning such as finding optimal locations for new offices , analyzing current and future office usage , and managing space planning
- Events & Team Gatherings: Designing, planning, coordinating, and running impactful company events and team-gathering activities
- Reception & Employee Support : Managing state-of-the-art reception services and supporting the full employee lifecycle from candidate assessments to departures
- Travel Services: Providing exceptional travel support for employees and guests, including handling visa requests and guest trips
- Innovate and Elevate the Workplace Experience While the team runs the day-to-day, your personal focus will be on the strategic evolution of our workplace. Drawing on your curiosity, previous experience, and by analyzing external trends, you are accountable for raising the bar. You will be responsible for
- Thinking βout-of-the-boxβ to bring tangible, relevant, and innovative improvement ideas to the table
- Actively following market trends and benchmarking Sonarβs services against other leading companies to identify opportunities for improvement
- Building and managing a roadmap of high-impact projects, prioritizing them based on their effort/impact ratio and implementing them
- Working closely with HR, IT, finance, and leadership teams to implement your solutions
