• Ability to work independently and remotely for long stretches of time and to set deadlines for yourself

Responsibilities

• Write and edit proposals in response to Federal Government solicitations, ensuring clarity, coherence, and alignment with customer requirements
• Interview subject matter experts to extract valuable insights to summarize content effectively
• Conduct independent research on relevant topics, trends, and best practices in information technology and cybersecurity to enhance proposal quality
• Employ generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT, to streamline writing processes and improve content creation efficiency
• Craft compelling narratives that highlight our company’s strengths, differentiators, and relevant past performance
• Combine content from multiple writers to synthesize a single coherent story
• Develop marketing materials, company past performance write-ups, and boilerplate proposal content during off-peak times
• Create graphical concepts to enhance a story and collaborate with graphic designers to turn the ideas into compelling graphics
• Ensure all proposals comply with Federal guidelines and are submitted on time
• Participate in proposal reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve proposal processes and content quality

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Information Technology, or a related field
• A background in journalism
• Previous experience in proposal writing for Federal Government contracts, ideally in IT and cybersecurity
