Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Film/Media Studies, Digital Media, or a related field
- Passion for YouTube and an understanding of what makes content perform well
- Basic knowledge of YouTube SEO and video optimization strategies
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take constructive feedback
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Responsibilities
- Assist in publishing and scheduling content across our brandβs YouTube channels
- Monitor analytics and provide insights on video performance
- Support in optimizing video metadata, including titles, descriptions, and tags
- Help track and report on revenue generated through sales links in videos
- Engage with the YouTube community by responding to comments and creating community posts
- Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices, suggesting ways to improve content strategy
- Assist editors by gathering performance data to improve future video editing
- Research new tactics and strategies to enhance YouTube channel growth
- Collaborate with the social media team to analyze performance data from Facebook and Instagram
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant coursework or personal projects in digital content creation, social media, or video production
- Any experience managing a personal or small YouTube channel, creating video content, or analyzing social media performance
- Basic understanding of video editing, SEO, or graphic design tools (such as Photoshop or Canva)
- Familiarity with Photoshop or experience creating YouTube thumbnails
