Summary

Join Level Access, Inc. as an Accessibility Consultant and help companies build accessible digital systems. Requirements

  • Possess a core understanding of web development technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and their impact on user experience
  • Clearly and effectively communicate with clients verbally and in writing, demonstrating attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex topics concisely
  • Have a desire to perform interface testing and validate conformance to technical requirements, with experience testing web-based interfaces for compliance
  • Be organized, able to work independently, and have a desire for long-term growth within the company
  • Be excellence-focused, striving for high quality and accountability
  • Be flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to manage multiple tasks effectively, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Have strong experience with waterfall and agile PM tools such as JIRA
  • Hold a BS degree in technology or equivalent work experience
  • Have 4+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of accessibility frameworks (Section 508, EN 349 501, WCAG 2.X)

Responsibilities

  • Define test plans by working with global teams to determine testing environment boundaries and identify a representative test plan of user interface components
  • Test client systems against specific manual tests and assistive technology tools, conducting evaluations with a proprietary browser extension
  • Consult with customers on implementing digital accessibility in various systems (web, mobile, hardware, documents), creating roadmaps for improvement
  • Support, review, and provide feedback to maintain consistency and quality with a global team of accessibility professionals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience developing user interfaces and PDF documents
  • Have an understanding of general technical operations
  • Have real-world experience working with product and technology industries
  • Have specializations in mobile testing (Android and iOS), design systems, web frameworks (Angular, React, React Native, Flutter, SPA), Unity, gaming engines, embedded software, VR, hardware (kiosks, POS), or document accessibility (PDF, Word, PowerPoint)
