Summary

Join our team as an Account Director and lead the organization's client relationships, ensuring successful delivery of the review cycle continuum. This role requires a forward-thinking professional with strong communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders. You will track KPIs, address service delivery challenges, manage financial performance, build client relationships, and drive business development. The position demands a seasoned account management professional to establish and maintain productive relationships with both internal and external clients. This client-facing role involves strategic planning, financial analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance account performance and expand service scope. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client escalations and resolving issues effectively.

Requirements

  • Ability to process all medical records, in a timely and efficient manner and ensuring accuracy
  • Candidates will be motivated, organized, detail oriented, responsible, and reliable, can multi-task and be able to work independently
  • Candidates will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Candidates will be able to access multiple system platforms
  • Candidates will have the ability to understand and become knowledgeable of policies & procedures, HIPAA regulations and to complete work in compliance with these and other standards
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple, healthcare terminology
  • Data-entry experience with excellent typing skills required
  • Candidates will have the ability to learn new processes in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidates will have effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate in English (verbally and in writing)

Responsibilities

  • Ability to lead internal and external meetings with a keen focus on clear communications, executive presence, and problem solving
  • Robust presentation skills with the ability to influence change and drive client engagement
  • Client relationship management and consultation
  • Service Delivery management to ensure Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements are met or exceeded
  • Performance drivers, forecasts, and variances
  • Account financial analysis to provide organizational leadership with insight into budget recommendations, revenue forecasts, and financial variance analysis
  • Strategy development and implementation for client engagement enhancement and service delivery improvement
  • Opportunity identification to expand scope of services within assigned portfolio and work with leadership team to drive such opportunities
  • Documentation and communication of new client-specific processes and requirements
  • Cross-functional collaboration across teams to enhance account performance
  • Client escalation management and resolution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple, healthcare terminology. For example, DRG, Cost Outlier, Readmission is preferred
  • Experience with previous release of information, medical records, or other related experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
