Join Later as an Account Director of Platform Partnerships and play a key role in managing and strengthening strategic relationships with leading social platforms. Lead executive-level negotiations, act as the primary point of contact for revenue-driving partners, and develop customized success and go-to-market plans. Collaborate with internal teams for successful partnership implementation, serve as the "Voice of the Customer", and lead co-marketing initiatives. Design co-branded proposals, develop incentives, and provide ongoing support to partners. Partner with Services and Strategy departments for a cohesive partner experience and develop internal processes to track incentive budgets. This role requires 7+ years of experience in strategic partnerships and a proven track record of managing high-value platform relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, along with experience working cross-functionally.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, client relationship management, or business development — preferably within the tech, social media, or influencer marketing industry
- Proven track record of managing high-value platform relationships and leading executive-level negotiations
- Strong ability to develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies, success plans, and co-selling initiatives
- Comfortable working with data to inform decisions, measure impact, and iterate on partner programs
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with a knack for building trust-based, long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience acting as a “Voice of the Customer” to influence product, marketing, and service teams
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Strategy, and Services teams to bring initiatives to life
- Skilled in managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Comfortable representing the company at industry events, conferences, and executive meetings
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience also considered
- Travel required
Responsibilities
- Lead executive-level negotiations with key strategic platform partners, collaborating closely with partnership, sales, account, and vertical leadership teams
- Act as the primary point of contact for our revenue-driving platform partners, fostering strong, trust-based relationships and gaining a deep understanding of their business goals and objectives
- Develop and execute customized success and go-to-market (GTM) plans for each partner, aligning on clear goals and outcomes while strategically expanding Later’s presence within each platform’s ecosystem
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and execution of partnerships through project management of key programs
- Serve as the “Voice of the Customer”, ensuring partner needs, insights, and feedback are clearly and effectively communicated across the organization to drive alignment and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to lead co-marketing initiatives and events, owning partner outreach to cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and industry influencers
- Serve as a thought leader and company ambassador at industry events, conferences, and key partner meetings including QBRs
- Design and deliver co-branded proposals to co-sell campaigns with each platform’s sales teams
- Develop incentives and packages with each platform to bring added value to our customer base
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to your partners, serving as a trusted advisor, and resource to address any issues or concerns
- Partner with our Services and Strategy departments to provide a cohesive experience for current partners and develop internal processes to educate and track incentive budgets
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading or supporting co-marketing initiatives and partner-driven events is a plus
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to own partner roadmaps, coordinate incentive programs, and track performance
Benefits
$180,000 - 220,000 OTE
