Summary
Foothold Technology is seeking an Account Executive with a proven track record in SaaS sales to manage and develop a pipeline of potential clients, engage in value-driven discussions, articulate the unique value proposition of their AWARDS SaaS solution, achieve or exceed sales targets, maintain records, collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct competitive research, continuously improve sales techniques, and uphold Foothold's core values. The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, 3 years of successful sales experience within a SaaS environment, exceptional communication skills, an innate curiosity and authenticity, experience with a proven sales methodology, and a coachable mindset.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- A proven history of successful sales experience, preferably within a SaaS environment, with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and engage potential clients
- An innate curiosity and authenticity, coupled with a passion for understanding client needs and delivering innovative solutions
- Experience with a proven sales methodology such as Challenger, MEDDICC, Miller-Heiman, etc
- A coachable mindset, open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and improvement
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of potential clients
- Engage in meaningful, value-driven discussions with senior executives about their business, needs, and strategic goals
- Articulate the unique value proposition of our AWARDS SaaS solution through compelling presentations and product demonstrations
- Achieve or exceed sales targets
- Maintain meticulous records of all sales-related activities in our CRM system
- Utilize a data-driven approach to analyze market trends and customer behavior for informed decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ie. Product and Customer Success) to align sales strategies with product development and marketing efforts
- Conduct competitive research to identify opportunities for differentiation and market positioning
- Continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge through ongoing training and professional development
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management for strategic planning and resource allocation
Benefits
The expected range of base pay for this position in the New York area is $70,000 - $85,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location
