Summary
Join MeridianLink as an Account Executive (AE) to develop and implement strategic plans for assigned accounts, focusing on upselling and cross-selling core products to Credit Unions, Banks, and Finance Companies. You will build and execute strategic joint business plans with customers, collaborating to identify and execute new products and services. The ideal candidate possesses strong account management skills, delivers services as per agreed service levels, manages workflows effectively, and contributes to continuous improvement. This role drives customer growth and delivers positive experiences while presenting a value-based approach to existing customers. You will manage the sales cycle and meet set metrics and goals aligned with company revenue objectives. The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2-4 years of sales or account management experience in the specified industries.
Requirements
- Education Bachelor’s Degree or experience equivalent
- Experience 2-4 years’ experience in sales or account management with Credit Unions, Banks and Finance Companies is preferred
- Successful business development background with expertise in lead generation
- High workplace efficiency
- Ability to consistently fill pipeline and drive revenue opportunities

Responsibilities
- Identify, action and/or provide advice on how to improve business input metrics that drive growth and improve end customer experience
- Drive results in a cross functional environment
- Demonstrate excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently while using centralized resources, policies and procedures
- Develop and implement strategic plans to manage and grow accounts
- Retain clients and build strong, trusting relationships
- Understand client needs and identify new business opportunities within your portfolio
- Identify opportunities for improvement and propose new tools and processes
- Develop and maintain excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors, and industry
- Utilize a customer-focused selling process to identify needs, pains and goals of existing customer base
- Meet and exceed individual daily, weekly, and monthly targets and goals for activity, prospecting and booked revenues
- Diligently utilize Salesforce, Gong, Clari, Outreach and other tools in the Sales tech stack to internally track all activities, calls and manage forecast
