Summary

Join Planet Technologies, a leading Microsoft services provider, as an Account Executive. Requirements

  • Ability to cross sell Microsoft Solutions within an existing customer base using all typical methods as well as with “out of the box” thinking
  • Proven success as a Trusted Advisor building upon both new and preexisting relationships to deliver innovative Professional Services solutions to clients
  • Collaborative team player who is passionate about aligning daily activities, removing obstacles, and achieving goals while building partnerships with internal and external teams
  • A customer success mindset, focused on creating innovative solutions
  • Proven ability to build upon existing relationships in addition to developing new relationships to cross sell solutions as well as innovative ways to prospect and manage leads through traditional methods (phone, e-mail, sales campaigns etc) and more savvy connections as needed
  • The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in written, verbal and presentation form and the knowledge of what and when to escalate challenges
  • This is a remote based position, but you must have the ability to travel as needed to customer sites and industry events as needed (maybe quarterly)

Responsibilities

  • Delivering revenue growth from driving professional services focusing on the integration, delivery, and deployment of Microsoft Technology within the defined target market
  • Develop new opportunities to create and identify innovative solutions to solve challenges that address your customers’ needs
  • Apply your understanding of technical capabilities to help frame solution-oriented projects
  • Develop, maintain, and grow customer and key partner relationships including with customers, Microsoft Account team and key partners
  • Collaborate with cross-solution areas to deliver compelling customer-centric presentations and compelling proposals
  • Partner across the organization in the identification, development, and prompt delivery of SOWs and RFX opportunities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, managing, escalating, and/or orchestrating sales and delivery success throughout and beyond the identified resolutions
  • Enhancing client engagement, growing customer revenue, and automating processes
  • Meet or exceed revenue & core priority targets, executing in accordance with prescribed Planet methods, processes, and tools
  • Follow an established sales process by accurately managing pipeline and forecast on time and on target revenue as well as prospecting, qualifying, and driving opportunities to close

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous success as Technical Seller, Customer Success Manager, Technical Account Manager or similar job roles at a Microsoft focused organization is ideal
  • Previous experience working with clients in State and Local Government, Healthcare, Education or the Manufacturing/Defense Industrial is ideal

Benefits

  • Compensation for this position includes both base salary and bonus
  • Base salaries for an Account Manager at Planet Technologies ranges between $140,000 and 180,000
