Summary
Join SAM Labs, an award-winning EdTech startup, as an Account Executive and play a key role in expanding our presence in the Midwest. You will drive revenue growth by engaging schools and districts, developing relationships with decision-makers, and converting leads into long-term partnerships. This remote position requires frequent travel (up to 50%) and offers a competitive OTE package with uncapped commission potential. You will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, meeting revenue targets, pitching and closing deals, and optimizing the sales process. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of sales experience in the K12 education or EdTech industry and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the K12 education or EdTech industry, with a proven track record of success
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to clearly articulate the value of our products to educators and administrators
- A Bachelorβs degree or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by engaging schools and districts throughout your territory
- Develop relationships with decision-makers and build a pipeline of opportunities, converting them into successful, long-term partnerships
- Generate leads by connecting with schools and districts across Pennsylvania and New Jersey, exploring new opportunities and nurturing existing relationships
- Assess leads based on their budget, decision-making authority, needs, and timeline to ensure a smooth sales process
- Meet and exceed revenue targets, acquiring new school customers while benefiting from uncapped commission potential
- Confidently pitch and close deals virtually and in-person, engaging key decision-makers at both the school and district levels
- Optimize the sales process through diligent pipeline management, activity tracking, and forecasting, ensuring consistent progress toward targets
- Share insights and successes with the broader team, contributing to our collective knowledge and improving our sales strategies
