Summary
Join Solution Tree as a Director of Educational Partnerships and contribute to transforming education worldwide. This outside sales position, based remotely in Arizona or New Mexico, focuses on achieving revenue goals through sales of print and online resources, educator events, and professional development services. You will develop and execute a territory sales plan, manage expenses responsibly, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers in the K-12 education sector. The role requires significant travel (at least 50%) and proficiency in solution selling and utilizing sales technologies. Requirements
- Possess a Bachelorβs Degree
- Have a minimum of five years of successful sales experience
- Travel at least 50% of the time (including overnights)
Responsibilities
- Achieve quarterly and annual contracted revenue sales goals
- Manage expenses in compliance with company guidelines, demonstrating fiscal responsibility and judgment
- Possess product and market knowledge; present unique product offerings and comprehensive solutions to individuals and groups
- Utilize competition knowledge to inform sales strategy
- Observe market trends and communicate them to customers and colleagues
- Employ solution selling techniques
- Engage in account targeting and territory planning
- Develop and nurture customer relationships with key decision-makers (Superintendents, district administrators, and school Principals)
- Share information timely with sales management and internal partners
- Conduct successful business meetings with decision-makers in person, by phone, and via video conferencing
- Demonstrate technological proficiency with Salesforce.com, Outlook, Excel, and Word
Preferred Qualifications
- Have K-12 education sales experience
- Establish a dedicated, quiet workspace free of distractions
- Effectively manage personal obligations during work hours so they do not impede work commitments
