Summary

Join Sonatype, a leader in software supply chain management, as a Channel Sales Representative responsible for driving transactional business across America through strategic partners. You will effectively communicate Sonatype's value proposition, increase sales, and expand customer usage through upselling and cross-selling. This role requires generating leads through various methods, maintaining accurate sales data in Salesforce, and possessing strong communication skills. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of inside sales experience in the technology industry, experience with Salesforce, and fluency in English and Spanish. Requirements

  • 2+ years of inside sales experience in a transactional market through Channel Partners in the technology industry
  • Ability to express complex technical and functional concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a technical audience, and at a C-level
  • Experience with Salesforce for sales activity recording and forecasting and familiarity with LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, or other sales prospecting tools
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Located in US central time zone

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for America's transactional business through our strategic channel partners
  • Effectively communicate Sonatype’s unique value proposition to increase sales and expand existing customer’s usage through upsell and cross-selling activity
  • Drive lead generation through target account selling, outbound cold calling, and calling on marketing-generated and inbound leads
  • Maintain current and accurate activity & chatter for sales opportunities within Sonatype’s CRM system (Salesforce)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success selling license/subscription software to mid-market accounts
  • Formal sales training experience
  • Fluency in Portuguese
