Summary

Join a leading omnichannel technology provider in the food retail industry as a Sales Account Executive. You will drive sales, build relationships, and expand market reach within the grocery and convenience store market. Working closely with the Head of Sales, you will develop and close new opportunities. As an outbound sales representative, you will be responsible for driving sales and adoption of the company’s technology. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, can effectively communicate the value proposition, and collaborates with internal teams. This is a remote, full-time position offering a competitive salary and commission.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the Food Retail industry – groceries, co-ops, or convenience stores
  • 2+ years of sales experience in inside sales for technology, services, or subscription-based products
  • Experience in working with sales CRM platforms and other sales tech stack products
  • Ability to adapt, overcome objections, and learn complex solutions
  • Strong time management skills
  • Consistent and documented track record for achieving monthly/quarterly/annual target metrics
  • Ability to make focused efforts to close deals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop Pipeline and drive sales and adoption of Local Express technology with new clients
  • Execute planned sales activities and develop a target list of high-potential new customers
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our solution to prospects
  • Take ownership of closing the sales process
  • Collaborate with internal Business Development and Marketing teams to better target, engage, and close new customers
  • Can function independently as a β€œfull cycle” AE
  • Achieve quota and drive performance to exceed quota

Benefits

  • Salary: $90k/year Base + Commission
  • Remote
  • Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (+/- 1 hour accepted) - PST
