Summary
Join Tridge's Platform Sales team as an experienced Account Executive and lead the way in showcasing our core data & intelligence services, primarily focusing on Tridgeβs flagship service, Marketbrief. This role involves acquiring clients, driving revenue growth, and promoting Marketbrief's unique value. You will contribute to measurable growth and be a key player in shaping Tridge's success. The position requires 5+ years of experience in enterprise/SMB sales, preferably in SaaS or tech sales within relevant sectors. You will develop and execute sales strategies, present solutions to decision-makers, identify new business opportunities, and build strong client relationships. Requirements
- 5+ years in enterprise / SMB sales, preferably in SaaS or tech sales for the agri-food, agriculture, or market intelligence sectors
- Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, solution-selling methodologies, and account management
- Familiarity with the global agri-food market, including trends, supply chains, and operational challenges
- Ability to understand and communicate the value of SaaS platforms and data-driven solutions
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire and retain enterprise-level clients, focusing on agri-food businesses
- Present SaaS-based market intelligence and analytics solutions to decision-makers, emphasizing their value in optimizing agricultural supply chains and trade strategies
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and targeted outreach campaigns. Manage and nurture a pipeline of high-potential clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, acting as a trusted advisor to address their business challenges using SaaS solutions
- Work closely with the product, marketing, and customer success teams to align offerings with market needs and ensure seamless onboarding and support
- Stay informed about tech, SaaS, and agri-food industry trends to tailor solutions to evolving client needs
- Achieve or exceed sales targets, monitor KPIs, and report progress and opportunities regularly
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with technology companies
- Established relationships in the agro/food industry
- Existing network and relationships within government/university sectors
- Large account management experience
- Several years of business consulting management experience
