Summary
Join Tridge's Platform Sales team as an experienced Account Executive to lead the sales of Tridge Eye, a data intelligence platform. You will acquire clients, drive revenue growth, and promote the platform's value to agri-food businesses. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, presenting solutions to decision-makers, identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and collaborating with other teams. Success requires 5+ years of SMB or enterprise-level sales experience, a solid understanding of B2B sales cycles, and strong communication skills. Based in Colombo, familiarity with the agri-food industry is a plus. Requirements
- Around 5+ years of experience in SMB or Enterprise-level sale
- Currently based in Colombo
- Solid understanding of B2B sales cycles, solution-based selling, and account management
- Interest in or familiarity with the global agri-food industryโits market trends, supply chains, and challenges
- Ability to articulate the value of SaaS platforms and data-driven solutions to diverse stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, with confidence in presenting, negotiating, and building relationships
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire and retain enterprise-level clients, focusing on agri-food businesses
- Present SaaS-based market intelligence and analytics solutions to decision-makers, emphasizing their value in optimizing agricultural supply chains and trade strategies
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and targeted outreach campaigns. Manage and nurture a pipeline of high-potential clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, acting as a trusted advisor to address their business challenges using SaaS solutions
- Work closely with the product, marketing, and customer success teams to align offerings with market needs and ensure seamless onboarding and support
- Stay informed about tech, SaaS, and agri-food industry trends to tailor solutions to evolving client needs
- Achieve or exceed sales targets, monitor KPIs, and report progress and opportunities regularly
Preferred Qualifications
- Connections or working experience in the agriculture or food industry
- Network within government agencies, universities, or related institutions
- Experience managing large or strategic accounts
