Summary
Join Valimail, a fast-growing, venture-funded startup, as an Account Executive to drive new logo acquisition within the Commercial Sales team. You will own the sales lifecycle, from lead to close, focusing on small-to-medium-sized businesses. Requirements
- 5+ years direct Sales experience in SaaS, in an AE or similar role (SDR, BDR, CS, AM)
- Prior experience strategically selling directly to CISOs, CTOs or other executives within the IT/Technology infrastructure
- Self-starter, responsible for your own territory with experience building out your own territory plan
- Identify compelling value propositions that address customer needs
- Experience using our tech stack: Outreach, Salesloft, Gong, SFDC, ZoomInfo
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate highly technical concepts to a technical audience
- Cybersecurity or email security experience
- Sales training such as: MEDDIC, Command of the Message
Responsibilities
- Own the Sales Lifecycle, from lead to close, with companies within the Commercial space (3,000-12,500 employees) and deal sizes ranging from 10k-90k in ARR
- Identify and pursue new target accounts, maintain a high volume of revenue-driving activity
- Strategically map out and break into accounts in companies in the Commercial Segment
- Utilize solution and value-selling techniques along with overcoming objections to effectively guide sales processes to close
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams like Product, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Success
- Keep CRM system up to date with customer information, forecasts, and pipeline data so we can learn more about our business and our sales process

- Competitive pay + participation in employee stock option plan. The anticipated base compensation for this role is $100,000 - $110,000 and has a variable (commission) component anticipated at $100,000 - $110,000. Exact pay is commensurate to experience
