Join our team as an Account Manager at BS&A Software, where you'll foster enduring relationships with clients, guide them through software migrations, and develop tailored strategies for client satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience (ideally) in customer facing role, preferably account management or customer success in the software or governmental sector
  • Proven track record of maintaining and growing client relationships
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based software solutions and their implementation in a municipal context
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders
  • A proactive and empathetic approach to client service
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (20% of the time) for client meetings and presentations

Responsibilities

  • Foster enduring relationships with our current clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Guide customers through the migration process from license and maintenance agreements to our new cloud-based software solutions
  • Ensure customers are deriving value from payment processing functionality in collaboration with payment processing partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client transitions and to provide feedback on client needs and experiences
  • Develop tailored strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention
  • Educate and support clients on the full capabilities of our cloud solutions, enhancing their experience and optimizing their operations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, using CRM tools like Salesforce to track progress and identify opportunities for additional support
  • Participate in client meetings, webinars, and workshops to stay connected and address any client concerns or questions
  • Regularly update clients on new features and enhancements to our software, ensuring they leverage the full potential of our solutions
