Summary

Join EcoVadis as a motivated and autonomous Account Manager in the DACH region! You will manage a large client portfolio, maximizing their use of sustainable procurement solutions. As a strategic advisor, you'll guide clients in scaling sustainability initiatives across their supply chains. Strong relationship-building, understanding client needs, driving improvement, and leveraging technology are crucial. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and contribute to EcoVadis's continuous improvement. This is a temporary position with potential for extension.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in customer success, account management, or client-facing roles in a SaaS company
  • SaaS & Sustainable Procurement Knowledge: Familiarity with SaaS solutions and automation tools. Knowledge of procurement systems is an asset - but not mandatory
  • Client-Centric Mindset: Strong ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to anticipate client challenges and proactively develop solutions. High level of resilience and open to work in a constantly changing environment
  • Data-Driven Approach: Comfortable analyzing data to drive strategic decisions and recommendations
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent Communication: Strong presentation and communication skills. Fluency in English and German is a must
  • Adaptability & Tech-Savviness: Comfortable learning and demonstrating new technologies to clients
  • Change Management Experience: Supporting organizations through process automation and adoption

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with a large portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact. Ensuring that they maximize the value they get from the EcoVadis solutions and provided self-service resources
  • Advise a large portfolio of accounts on the strategic implementation of their sustainable procurement program, enable and support changes when required. Promote upsell of additional solutions and add-ons when needed
  • Establish and maintain a strong relationship with customer project managers and decision makers. Organize and lead high-impact, data driven strategic check-ins with clients. Know when to step in while letting automation work
  • Carefully monitor operations with your customers (forecast and delivery) in order to guarantee operational KPIs are met
  • Support client’s compliance efforts by helping clients leverage our solution for their supply chain due diligence
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Renewal Management, Product, and further global teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Manage and retain a portfolio of clients, proactively addressing challenges and recommending solutions internally as well as externally
  • Track key success metrics and report on customer health, engagement, and satisfaction
  • Contribute to Ecovadis continuous improvement process by providing feedback to the product management team on solution development needs
  • Teamwork and best practices sharing to contribute to the development of EcoVadis service and to maintain a positive and motivating atmosphere

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of procurement systems is an asset
