Summary
Join Pallon, an ETH Zurich spin-off, as an Account Manager and contribute to making cities more sustainable. You will work closely with the Customer Success and Sales teams to manage and expand relationships with existing clients, primarily in the Swiss market, but also in Germany and Austria. Your focus will be on driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling, ensuring high client retention, and acting as a trusted advisor. You will manage a portfolio of clients, lead contract renewals, and ensure seamless onboarding of new users. This role requires strong consultative sales skills, experience in B2B account management, and proficiency in CRM tools. Requirements
- +3 years of experience in B2B account management, customer success, or consultative sales, ideally in SaaS, AI, industrial technology, or infrastructure-related industries
- A proven track record of expanding customer accounts, increasing contract values, and securing renewals
- Strong consultative sales skills, with experience in upselling, cross-selling, and negotiating long-term contracts
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in municipalities, engineering firms, or inspection companies
- Experience in customer engagement strategies, proactively identifying and addressing client needs to improve retention
- Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot, or similar) for tracking account performance and managing renewals
- Excellent communication skills in German and English to effectively engage with a diverse client base
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring high levels of engagement and retention. The main focus will be on the Swiss market, with additional clients in Germany and Austria
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize account value and increase customer adoption of Pallonโs services
- Lead contract renewal discussions and securing long-term commitments from clients
- Develop strong relationships with decision-makers in municipalities, engineering firms, and inspection companies
- Act as the trusted advisor for clients, helping them understand the ROI of Pallonโs solutions and providing strategic guidance on their sewer management processes
- Ensure seamless onboarding of new users within existing accounts to expand product usage
- Track account health metrics and proactively addressing risks to reduce churn
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience managing accounts in municipalities, engineering firms, or infrastructure-related industries
- Proficiency in Swiss German, French or Italian
- Experience working in a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment
