Summary

Join Tackle, a leading solution helping software companies generate revenue through a data-driven Cloud go-to-market (Cloud GTM). As a Sales Representative, you will grow revenue, cultivate customer relationships, and evangelize Tackle's vision. You will manage renewals, cross-sell, and upsell, while identifying new opportunities. You'll leverage sales tools, collaborate with internal teams, and consultatively guide customers. Requirements

  • 4-6 years of software sales experience within fast-paced and transactional environments - SaaS background preferred
  • Maniacal focus and passion for developing ongoing engagement and nurturing relationships
  • Demonstrated success in working sales cycles from end to end (prospecting through closing)
  • Technologically adept and business acumen-focused, with outstanding communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and presentation skills
  • The ability to work remotely and collaborate within a team environment to achieve your goals
  • Experienced with Salesforce.com , Staircase, and other customer success and sales tools, and collaboration tools

Responsibilities

  • Grow revenue and attain customer net retention goals within your assigned accounts
  • Establish and cultivate strong customer relationships within an account to develop champions and stakeholders in Alliances, Revenue Operations, GTM organizations
  • Evangelize the Tackle Vision and our ability to help transform the way software companies sell
  • Work with Tackle customers to manage Renewals, Cross-Sell to additional Marketplaces, and Upsell to expand existing Marketplace product portfolios
  • Leverage your creativity to identify and qualify new opportunities to maintain a 3x Expansion Pipeline
  • Become an expert in Marketplace selling - This means being able to guide ISV’s through the β€œWhy Marketplace'' conversation
  • Leverage sales management and customer success health tools to track sales activities
  • Is a force multiplier: Helping develop and experiment with ways to build scalable and efficient renewal motions and processes
  • Communicating with the extended Tackle teams early and often - including working closely with Customer Success Resources, to drive the best outcomes for our customers
  • Consultatively guiding customers using 1:Many Success Motion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer Success, Account Management, Partner Development background preferred
  • Experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP is helpful. AWS Marketplace experience preferred
  • History of overachievement and several references from people telling us we’d be silly not to hire you
