Summary

Join Workleap as an Account Manager and play a pivotal role in renewing and expanding customer contracts for ShareGate. You will build strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure they maximize their investment. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of accounts globally, proactively engaging with customers, and collaborating with internal teams. You will identify and address at-risk accounts, optimize internal processes, and contribute to improving workflows. Success in this position requires a strong understanding of ShareGate's value proposition within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and proficiency with CRM tools. The team is high-performing, collaborative, and customer-focused, prioritizing relationship building and value delivery.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in a high-performance environment with monthly or quarterly targets
  • Proven ability to uncover customer pain points and offer tailored, value-driven solutions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities
  • A genuine interest in supporting IT professionals and understanding their Microsoft 365 challenges

Responsibilities

  • Build strong, consultative relationships with customers by acting as a trusted advisor throughout their journey
  • Proactively engage with customers outside of the renewal window to reinforce ShareGate’s value and uncover ongoing needs
  • Nurture post-onboarding relationships to increase satisfaction and positively influence renewal rates
  • Collaborate with the Technical Support team to join product demos and identify upsell opportunities
  • Share best practices tailored to each customer’s business needs
  • Identify at-risk customers early and work with internal stakeholders (Customer Success, Support, etc.) to re-engage and retain them
  • Act as the main point of contact for existing customers regarding contracts, billing, and high-level guidance
  • Manage a pipeline of small, medium, and large customer accounts throughout the full renewal and expansion cycle
  • Take part in the overall sales funnel process, ensuring smooth transitions and timely engagement
  • Proactively identify expansion opportunities by conducting strategic discovery and surfacing long-term needs post-migration
  • Optimize internal processes and contribute to improving workflows and guidelines that enhance the customer experience
  • Embrace experimentation and challenge the status quo—constantly seeking innovative ways to engage with customers, improve internal practices, and drive results
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams like Support, Customer Success, and Product to align efforts and improve customer outcomes
  • Participate in continuous learning to stay aligned with evolving AM strategies and ShareGate’s value messaging
  • Maintain a strong understanding of ShareGates value as a solution, features, and positioning within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Stay up to date on product updates and market trends to deliver relevant insights during customer conversations
  • Leverage CRM tools (Salesforce) to meticulously track customer information, health, engagement, and opportunities
  • Use engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Gong, etc.) to run sequences, analyze activity, and plan touchpoints
  • Support product demo conversations by aligning features to business needs and identifying cross-sell/upsell potential

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with IT concepts or Microsoft ecosystem (an asset)
  • Experience in tech sales (preferably SaaS or inbound-driven sales) is a strong asset
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools (an asset)
