Summary

Join Tubi's Content accounting team as an experienced Accountant! You will support various accounting processes for licensed and self-produced content, including payment processing, account analyses, report preparation, and month-end close support. Collaborate with the Content Accounting Manager and other teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. You will also track off-platform content accounting information and assist with internal and external audits. This role involves process optimization, reporting and analytics, and adapting to a growing content footprint. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving and communication skills, along with experience in payment operations and month-end close processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience with exposure to payment operations
• Knowledge of general ledger treatment and general accounting practices
• Experience with month-end close – account reconciliations, resolution of issues, reporting, etc
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Strong understanding of both financial and operational controls
• Ability to partner cross-functionally across various departments
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Content Payment Support – Assist the content payment process through Coupa invoice & payment management. Partnering with the Content team to ensure timely and accurate payments
• Month-End Close Support – Perform monthly processes to support our Licensed & Owned content business including, title reconciliation, data processing and accounting reconciliations ensuring accurate and timely journal entry postings for month-end close. Work closely with the internal accounting and partner teams to support a smooth and efficient close process
• Off-platform Content Support – Track, maintain, and report key accounting information coming from off-platform exploitation, including the recording of proceeds due to Tubi and the operational reporting of results to inform talent obligations
• Audit Support – Assist with internal and external audits by gathering and providing necessary documentation related to Content Accounting. Ensure compliance with financial policies and support audit requests for reconciliations, approvals, and financial records
• Process Optimization – Identify inefficiencies, process gaps, and enhance reporting for both Original content and Off-platform activity
• Reporting & Analytics - Analyze content spending, participation statements, and general content activity trends to verify accuracy, identify opportunities, and improve financial transparency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in both Workday and Coupa
• Knowledge of ASC 920 and ASC 926 with experience in streaming content
• Experience with process improvement initiatives and automation
