Responsibilities

  • Process and record incoming invoices by fact checking and determining cost centers and projects
  • Communicate with vendors (providing information regarding invoice payments, resolving issues that require invoice adjustments/credit notes)
  • Ensure approvals of invoices
  • Archive invoices and proofs of payment
  • Work effectively with other finance team members

Job Description

As we continue to grow, we are looking to hire an Accounting Assistant to join our growing Finance Department in Zagreb. Accounting assistant’s job description includes bookkeeping and archiving, but also providing needed administrative support to the Finance Department.

The Accounting Assistant role is a varied one, covering various accounting responsibilities:

  • processing and recording incoming invoices by fact checking and determining cost centers and projects
  • communication with vendors (providing information regarding invoice payments, resolving issues that require invoice adjustments/credit notes)
  • ensuring approvals of invoices
  • archiving invoices and proofs of payment
  • working effectively with other finance team members

Qualifications
