Accounting Coordinator

Requirements

• Strong proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite preferred) and Excel
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and data entry into the general ledger
• Help maintain accurate financial records and assist in preparing basic financial reports
• Support compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Collaborate with the Bookkeeper and Accounting Administrator to streamline accounting processes
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities under supervision
• Learn and assist with the utilization of the NetSuite accounting system and other integrated business systems
• Provide support for budgeting and forecasting activities
• Communicate basic financial updates and insights to team members and stakeholders
• Assist with tax filings and ensure basic compliance with relevant regulations
