Accounting Manager

Summary

The job description is for an Accounting Manager position at Aprio, a nationally ranked CPA firm with offices across the US and globally. The role involves overseeing monthly accounting reporting for digital asset clients, supervising a team, and providing mentorship. The ideal candidate has experience with digital asset sub-ledger tools, is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and has a CPA certification.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a client-facing accounting role and a high level of knowledge of financials, general ledger, journal entries and account reconciliation
• 2+ years of experience working with Digital Asset/Blockchain clients
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field required
• CPA required

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly recurring accounting reporting for a portfolio of clients
• Review and document digital asset and fiat transactions
• Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled every month
• Complete second level reviews of recurring accounting work
• Supervise a team of accountants, providing mentorship and support

Preferred Qualifications

• Bill.com, Gusto, Dext, Expensify experience preferred
• Experience working with Digital Asset sub-ledger tools such as Bitwave, Crypto and Cryptotax calculator
