Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 4+ years’ experience in a finance or accounting position
  • Proficiency with accounting and payroll software
  • Advanced Excel skills, including PowerQuery
  • Experience managing accounting operations
  • Excellent financial and analytical abilities
  • Successful track record of collections
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Oversee invoicing and collections, refining processes to optimize cash flow
  • Generate and deliver monthly AR/AP reports for financial visibility
  • Process and manage vendor payments and company bills
  • Administer the company credit card program, ensuring expense reports align with policy and accuracy standards
  • Oversee and process monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state filing requirements, maintaining regulatory adherence
  • Maintain the month-end close calendar, setting clear and achievable deadlines
  • Lead and coordinate the month-end close process, ensuring timely and precise execution
  • Continuously enhance close procedures, implementing improvements for efficiency and accuracy
  • Prepare and review financial statements, forecasts, and budgets to support business decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA
  • Proficiency with accounting and payroll software (Xero, Gusto and/or Rippling)
