Accounting Manager

You will oversee the financial operations of our international entities, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards. Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, analyzing complex financial data, coordinating month-end close processes, and preparing reports. This role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in international finance, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and 5+ years of experience in international finance and consolidation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on international finance and consolidation
• Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and local regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and time zones
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial statements from international entities to ensure accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards
• Identify discrepancies and work with local accounting personnel to resolve any issues
• Coordinate the month-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met and financial reporting is accurate
• Review monthly roll forwards and reconciliations
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
• Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate financial performance to management
• Liaise with local accounting teams to provide guidance and support on financial reporting and compliance matters
• Collaborate closely with the FP&A team to align financial forecasts with actual performance and assist in budgeting processes
• Regularly communicate with the Senior Accounting Manager and Director of Accounting to provide updates on international financial performance and key issues
• Assist in preparing presentations for senior management, highlighting financial insights and recommendations
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency across international operations
• Implement best practices in financial reporting and analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent certification
• Experience with ERP systems such as Great Plains
