Remote Accounts Payable Associate

Summary

Join our team as an Accounts Payable Associate and become an integral part of our rapidly growing team. As a fully remote position, you will match and batch code, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process payments as needed.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable functions is required
• Intermediate/Advanced level of oral and written English
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions and formulas relevant to accounting
• Demonstrate the ability to work remotely, showcasing strong self- discipline and effective time management skills
• Great organizational skills
• Team player

Responsibilities

• Recording and tracking supplier payments
• Scheduling payments- Prepare and process wire transfers, ACH payments
• Weekly payment proposals according to internal policies
• Provisions control
• Travel expenses
• Monthly closing of the assigned cost center (time availability during closing)
• Maintain vendor records and update information as necessary
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoice status and payment inquiries
• Resolve vendor disputes and handle inquiries efficiently and professionally
• Reconcile monthly statements and related transactions
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation

Preferred Qualifications

Preferably with knowledge of NetSuite
