Accounts Payable Associate

Summary

The Accounts Payable Associate will process vendor invoices, maintain accurate records, assist with month-end closing activities, and improve accounts payable processes. They should have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, 1-3 years of accounts payable experience, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-3 years of accounts payable experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies
• Review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure all invoices are accounted for
• Maintain accurate and complete records of all payables transactions
• Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing accruals and reconciling accounts
• Assist in the implementation and improvement of accounts payable processes and procedures
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
