Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in any field
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or collections, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment
  • Proven experience managing client relationships and resolving disputes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve payment issues professionally
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, growing company where attention to detail and time management are key
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical, and mission-focused environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the accounts receivable aging report, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices
  • Communicate with clients to resolve outstanding payments and discrepancies, providing excellent customer service
  • Work with the finance team to streamline billing and collection processes for greater efficiency
  • Identify and escalate accounts that require additional attention or legal intervention
  • Reconcile customer accounts and ensure the accuracy of transactions
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast paced environment and handle multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Assist in preparing financial reports related to collections and revenue forecasts
  • Continuously improve collection strategies, aiming to reduce days sales outstanding (DSO), increase Autopay, and resolve aged receivables
