Join Kiddom, a leading educational platform, as an Adoptions & RFP Manager to spearhead content development initiatives and manage the proposal generation process for state adoptions of instructional materials. This role requires a strong background in content strategy, technical writing, and RFPs, along with exceptional communication and project management skills. You will lead the proposal development process, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions, analyze proposal performance, and refine future improvements. You will also manage the end-to-end proposal development process, including analyzing RFP requirements, drafting, editing, and formatting proposal content. Additionally, you will manage project timelines, coordinate team efforts, and evaluate proposals to identify opportunities for continuous process improvement. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in content strategy, technical writing, or proposal development, demonstrated success in managing complex RFP and proposal processes, and exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in content strategy, technical writing, or proposal development
- Demonstrated success in managing complex RFP and proposal processes
- Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities
- Familiarity with RFP software (eg. Loopio, Rfpio Responsive, etc.)
- Experience with business analysis tools
- Ability to synthesize technical information into clear, concise, and persuasive content
- High attention to detail and an ability to manage tight deadlines
- Familiarity with grant writing or funding proposal processes
Responsibilities
- Leads and monitors the proposal development process for RFPs to ensure timely, accurate and high-quality submissions
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather relevant information for proposal responses
- Support the analysis of proposal performance to help refine future improvements to products, proposals and improve success rates
- Manage the end-to-end proposal development process, including analyzing RFP requirements, drafting, editing, and formatting proposal content, and ensuring compliance with client specifications and company standards
- Create and maintain reusable content, templates, and proposal materials in a central proposal library
- Manage project timelines, coordinate team efforts, and evaluate proposals to identify opportunities for continuous process improvement
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success and support business growth
- Produce high-quality, precise documentation for internal and external audiences
- Review proposal content to ensure consistency, clarity, accuracy, and alignment with client needs
- Refine materials to ensure proposals are persuasive and meet high standards of quality
Preferred Qualifications
Preference to Knowledge of APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) best practices
