Advanced Analytics Staff

Summary

Join Airbnb as a Staff Analyst, Advanced Analytics, Geocentric Supply and lead initiatives focused on ensuring the right supply of hosts in the right locations. You will leverage internal and external data to inform business decisions, develop self-service dashboards, and project future opportunities. Requirements

• 10+ years of social and influencer measurement experience and background
• High proficiency in SQL for data analysis
• Strong data / analytics background, fluency with experimentation (AB test, experiment, causal inference), and measurement models
• Deep experience in advanced analytics or business data science within a marketplace or business strategy setting
• Exceptional business acumen, strategic thinking skills, and the ability to make informed judgments
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with a variety of stakeholders and conveying complex concepts in an accessible manner
• Proven track record for seamlessly working across different teams and partners
• Positive and collaborative personality and a commitment to ensuring all activities undertaken are as successful as possible
• Extremely capable in independently structuring and managing fast-paced and sometimes complex workflow and priorities

Responsibilities

• Be the Advanced Analytics owner and expert on datasets focused on Supply Constrained Markets
• Conduct strategic deep dives and employ advanced data analysis to extract actionable insights that inform hyper-local decisions
• Design, develop, and maintain a complete suite of self-service dashboards and tools to provide insights to a variety of stakeholders
• Project out future business opportunities and needs to maintain a long-term roadmap of initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Data Science, Operations, Engineering, and Marketing to align strategies and leverage complementary skills
