Advocate Operations Manager

Summary

Join Solace, a healthcare advocacy marketplace, as the Manager of Advocate Operations, reporting to the Chief Medical Officer. You will oversee a growing team of care advocates, ensuring excellent patient care and a best-in-class advocate experience. This role involves developing and implementing care models, policies, and quality assurance programs. You will shape the work of Solace's care advocates and contribute to scaling the business while maintaining high quality standards. The position requires significant experience in care management and leadership, along with subject matter expertise in addressing health-related social needs. Success in this role demands comfort working autonomously and collaboratively within a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements

• An active, unrestricted RN or LCSW license
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of care management experience
• 3+ years of leadership experience
• Subject matter expertise in closing care gaps and remedying health related social needs (HRSN/SDOH)
• Excitement at the prospect of working in a fast moving, high growth, tech-forward startup environment, taking complete ownership of the work you do
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with product, growth, and other parts of the organization, leading cross-functional teams to achieve desired results
• Comfort with developing a data framework to monitor the achievement of goals and tracking of KPIs
• A vision for what healthcare can and should be

Responsibilities

• Oversee a rapidly growing team of care advocates; assist with advocate hiring processes
• Ensure Solace’s patients receive excellent care and a best-in-class advocate experience through developing, implementing, and iterating on the care model
• Develop policies, procedures, and protocols that support our advocates to do their best work
• Develop and oversee quality assurance and improvement programs designed to strengthen the support patients receive

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or MPH
• Prior startup experience
• Comfort working autonomously is a necessity
