Summary
Join BitterBrains, a leading ed-tech company, as our motivated Affiliate Relationship Manager. This role focuses on building and managing relationships with affiliates to promote our products, including those offered by Certificates.dev and Vue School. You will be responsible for recruiting, supporting, and optimizing affiliate marketing campaigns. Requirements
- Reliable internet connection (all meetings and work is done online)
- Experience working remotely
- Ability to work in CET time zone, with core hours from 9:00 am till 6:00 pm
- Understanding of affiliate marketing concepts and digital marketing strategies
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, CRM, affiliate management software and affiliate tracking software is a must
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Sales acumen with the ability to engage potential partners and persuade them to join our affiliate program
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and problem-solving attitude
Responsibilities
- Identifying Potential Partners: Research and identify companies, organizations and influencers whose audiences align with our products and mission
- Recruiting Affiliates: Reach out to potential affiliates, present the benefits of our program, and onboard them
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with affiliates to ensure ongoing collaboration and mutual success
- Marketing Support: Create and distribute promotional materials, such as email templates, social posts, and blog content, to help affiliates optimize their campaigns
- Tracking and Reporting: Monitor affiliate performance through KPIs such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and generated sales. Provide regular reports with actionable insights
- System Management: Maintain the BitterBrains affiliate management systems and related back-ends to ensure that affiliates are set up correctly and results are reported, displayed and tracked
- Performance Optimization: Analyze campaign data, identify trends, and recommend strategies for improvement
- Affiliate Training: Offer guidance and support to affiliates, including tutorials and best practices for promoting our products
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align affiliate strategies with broader marketing goals
Preferred Qualifications
- A presence on Medium, Reddit, Dev.to, Stack Overflow and other developer-related platforms is preferred
- Knowledge of SEO, social media marketing, banner/placement management and email marketing
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and track performance metrics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong preference for asynchronous communication: Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment, prioritizing productivity over frequent meetings, which may occur once a week or less
- Meeting-free mindset: Passionate about minimizing meeting time to enhance focus and efficiency, leveraging tools and processes that support asynchronous workflows
- A keen interest in the developer community, particularly in the JavaScript network of products
- Demonstrated experience in affiliate outreach, management, education, performance optimisation and relationship building
