Summary
Join Spaceback, a global leader in Social Display and SocialCTV, as an Agency Sales Manager! Based remotely in the UK, you will build and maintain relationships with UK agencies, focusing on new business development and promoting the Spaceback platform. You will act as an entrepreneur, expanding the existing client portfolio and excelling at client engagement. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, along with a deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem. You will collaborate with internal teams and represent Spaceback at industry events. Spaceback offers a dynamic and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience from the digital media industry
- Solid and extensive agency network
- Can easily switch between technical issues, prospecting and analysis. You adapt easily between varying tasks throughout the day
- Proven track record of delivering results, building relationships, and collaborating with others
- Full understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem
- Knowledge of programmatic advertising and tracking tags
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, particularly leading software demos for prospective clients
- Working with media agencies and clients in a consultative manner, identifying new sales opportunities, and winning new RFPs
- Ability to influence agencies and clients with insight, data, and research to win new business
- Ability to work independently which is built on a foundation of being a self starter, taking initiative, and being proactive with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to quickly switch between different customers (existing and new business) and different activities (outreach, building creatives, internal reporting, etc.) seamlessly
Responsibilities
- Establish new agency relationships and actively pursue opportunities to introduce the Spaceback platform
- Responsible for building and maintaining a portfolio of clients, meaning supporting clients with financial inquiries, pitches, RFPs etc
- Act as an entrepreneur within an existing organization, engage with the full potential within the UK market with full responsibility and independence to expand and grow the existing portfolio, this includes excelling at client entertainment
- Build strategic relationships with key decision makers at agencies, trading desks, and advertising companies
- Support the Customer Success team by resolving agency/client issues in an efficient, tactful manner and support them with solutions to prevent future problems
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the Spaceback platform to serve as the subject matter expert to your clients
- Evangelize within the buying community and communicate your passion for Social Display and SocialCTV through brand awareness campaigns and providing demos
- Plan and execute on-site events with clients through lunch and learns, training sessions, happy hours
- Represent Spaceback at industry events in the UK
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience of selling native ads, video or sponsorship
- Experience from another tech vendor
