Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
• Minimum of [e.g., 8-10+] years of experience in the field of AI/ML, with a significant portion spent in hands-on development and deployment of machine learning models
• Proven track record (minimum [e.g., 3-5+] years) of leading, managing, and mentoring AI/ML teams or significant projects
• Deep technical expertise in core AI/ML concepts, including supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers), NLP, computer vision (as applicable), reinforcement learning, etc
• Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages (primarily Python) and ML libraries/frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Keras)
• Experience with data engineering, feature engineering, MLOps practices, and deploying models to production environments (cloud or on-premise)
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business problems into AI-driven solutions and quantify their impact
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Develop, articulate, and own the comprehensive AI strategy and roadmap for Leadtech, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and market opportunities
• Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases across product development, service delivery, and internal operations
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML research, technologies, and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and application within the company
• Recruit, build, mentor, and lead a world-class team of AI researchers, data scientists, and ML engineers
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence within the AI team and across the organization
• Set clear goals, manage performance, and support the professional development of team members
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects, from ideation, research, and prototyping to development, deployment, monitoring, and iteration
• Establish best practices, standards, and processes for AI development, including data governance, model validation, MLOps, and responsible AI principles (fairness, transparency, accountability)
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of AI models and systems in production environments
• Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and other departments to identify AI opportunities, define requirements, and integrate AI capabilities into our offerings
• Collaborate with the executive team to communicate the AI strategy, progress, and potential business impact
• Act as the primary AI subject matter expert for both internal stakeholders and external partners/clients when required
• Drive research and development efforts to explore novel AI techniques and technologies relevant to our domain
• Encourage experimentation and proof-of-concept projects to validate new ideas
• Establish and enforce ethical guidelines and governance frameworks for AI development and deployment, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and promoting responsible innovation

Preferred Qualifications

Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus
