Air Force Business Development Executive

Summary

Fusion Technology is seeking a Business Development Executive to grow its presence with the US Air Force. This role requires understanding how to win and close business with the Air Force programs, and has responsibilities such as building pipelines and overall strategy for the account. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, proven track record in collaborating with technology vendors and partners, excellent communication skills, and a Top Secret Clearance. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience
• Proven track record of 7+yrs of collaborating with technology vendors and partners to close business
• The ability to obtain and maintain a government issued Top Secret Clearance
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated track record of identifying and closing new business in similar organizations using consultative and collaborative multi-discipline team approach
• Deep understanding of Federal and Defense trends with the ability to drive positive change following industry perspective via the latest solutions in Mission Critical DOD Environments
• Experience in Air Force business development
• Ability to understand complex content and relate content around industry trends, client needs, and our service offerings
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing, high growth environment
• Is not married to the Shipley approach, adapts as needed to attain results

Responsibilities

• Building pipelines and overall strategy for the Air Force account
• Leveraging existing relationships with the government and industry
• As Fusion is a growing small business, must be flexible and support full life cycle of BD and Capture
• Develops processes that allow the team to maintain focus on the right opportunities and prioritize resources accordingly
