Requirements
- 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in managing the delivery of complex analytics projects within a global brand or agency environment
- Degree in a relevant applied science or social science field, such as Economics or Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience
- Proficiency in SQL databases and experience with econometrics and customer/market segmentation. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R and their associated data analysis libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn) is a plus
- Strong understanding of statistics, including descriptive statistics, regression, probability, sampling, and hypothesis testing
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical concepts into actionable business insights for non-technical audiences
- Good understanding of the media industry and the ability to balance brand and performance media investment allocations effectively
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of analysts, providing guidance, mentoring, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality analytics outputs across key projects
- Oversee the specification and delivery of critical analytics projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and deadlines. Work closely with Lead Analysts to maintain project alignment with business objectives
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, working alongside the Group Analytics Director to nurture and expand client relationships. Own the analytics output for assigned accounts and campaigns
- Deploy and oversee test and learn programmes, ensuring they deliver demonstrable incremental value for clients through initiatives such as onsite conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and digital ad platform enhancements
- Collaborate with Engineering and Data Science teams to advance data solutions, including econometrics, investment planning, clustering, and modelling
- Contribute to shaping the organisationβs data analytics offering by exploring and applying new techniques in marketing, consumer research, predictive analytics, and machine learning
- Serve as a bridge between client business users and the data engineering team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of analytics findings and recommendations
