Android Developer

Summary

The Android Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing mobile applications, keeping up to date with cutting-edge technologies, and deploying and supporting the apps. Required qualifications include 4+ years of experience in Android development, a passion for Android, fluency in English, and preferred experience with Kotlin, MVVM, DI, Jetpack Compose, Navigation, Retrofit, Material Design, Animations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing on Android
• A passion for Android and a commitment to building exceptional apps
• A passion for building consumer facing applications with elegant and clean interfaces
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Android mobile applications
• Exercise your technical expertise and communication as you work and share information on the solution with technical and business teams
• Recommend standards, best practices, architectures, and technologies
• Keep up to date on cutting edge technologies and effectively incorporate that knowledge to our platform roadmap, design and implementation
• Deploy and support the apps that you and your team deliver to ensure the optimal customer experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred experience with Kotlin (coroutines & flow), MVVM, DI (Hilt, Dagger), Jetpack Compose, Navigation, Retrofit, Material Design, Animations
