Application Builder

Summary

Join Anaplan's Workforce Center of Excellence as an Application Builder and build out-of-the-box and extendable applications on the Anaplan platform for planning, forecasting, and reporting. You will partner with Product Management, Application Architects, and other teams to design, build, and deliver applications that meet requirements and exceed expectations. Leverage your expertise in the Anaplan platform, HR systems, and workforce planning to create intuitive and user-friendly applications. Collaborate with GTM and Professional Services teams to ensure successful application implementation and adoption. Contribute to compelling demos, documentation, and best practices. Act as a trusted knowledge expert, potentially supporting sales and customer success efforts. Meet project deadlines and contribute to the successful deployment of applications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of diverse experience as an Anaplan Model Builder, deploying workforce planning use cases. At least Level 3 Certification
• Able to bring an engineering discipline to Anaplan applications - ensuring scalability, configurable functionality and the ability to manage your application build activities through to completion and delivery
• Bachelor’s degree computer science, business, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver Workforce Applications by leveraging the suite of Anaplan platform components (including model and UX building, user management, data integration, reporting, PlanIQ, etc.)
• Partner with Product Management to ensure application requirements are understood and documented, updating as required
• Design and build the application and UX to meet requirements, working with Application Architects where the requirements are complex
• Ensure the user experience developed meets UX standards, is intuitive, and easy to use
• Participate in quality assurance, updating and refining as needed, through successful delivery
• Upgrade applications with new Anaplan platform capabilities and features, as driven by prospects, customers and partner feedback
• Partner with Center of Excellence Advisors, Product Management, Professional Services and GTM Enablement Teams to ensure the Workforce COE delivers: Compelling conceptual demos and all supporting content including training and guides
• Partner with Center of Excellence Advisors, Product Management, Professional Services and GTM Enablement Teams to ensure the Workforce COE delivers: Full configuration and implementation content, documentation, and best practices to Anaplan’s delivery Teams
• Partner with Center of Excellence Advisors, Product Management, Professional Services and GTM Enablement Teams to ensure the Workforce COE delivers: Ongoing improvements and optimizations to existing applications
• Act as a trusted internal and external knowledge-expert for your applications
• Potentially support Sales and Customer Success with prospect and customer opportunities and escalations, including enabling Anaplan partners

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with some of the wider facets of the Anaplan platform (PlanIQ, Optimizer, ADO, Workflow and Polaris, etc)
• Experience with headcount planning, strategic workforce planning and skills-based capacity planning
• Understanding of product management, GTM operations and enablement
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and knowledge-sharing skills, with a results-driven perspective, able to collaborate across teams, with a focus on contributing deliverables of the highest possible quality and impact
• Advanced degree

Benefits

• Base Salary Range: $144,000 — $207,000 USD
