ArcGIS Developer

Summary

Join our team as a remote ArcGIS Developer in Raleigh, NC for a 12+ month contract. You will design, develop, and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript (v3 or v4). Responsibilities include integrating geospatial data, working with APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will also migrate maps to current ArcGIS versions and enhance functionality, focusing on updating a permitting system for oversized/overweight trucks. This role requires significant experience with ArcGIS and related technologies.

Requirements

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript (5 years experience)
• ArcGIS API for JavaScript (v3) or ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript (v4) (3 years experience)
• ArcGIS REST API (3 years experience)
• Azure DevOps or other version control system (1 year experience)
• SQL database (1 year experience)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain GIS applications
• Integrate geospatial data
• Work with APIs to enhance mapping functionalities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modify and create dynamic web-based GIS applications to update a permitting system for the client that is used for issuing permits to oversized/over-weight trucks traveling on client
• Migrate maps from older versions of ArcGIS to current version and enhance functionality

Preferred Qualifications

• TypeScript (1 year experience)
