Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
  • Proven experience minimum of 13 to 15+ years in architectural design and project management with the last 5 years in a team leader role
  • Experience in handling Residential projects
  • Proficiency in architectural software such as Revit and AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in other tools such as Microsoft Suite, Excel, and InDesign
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with excellent business level English; Ability to understand Irish accents
  • Leadership and management skills to effectively lead a remote team
  • Creative and innovative thinking to develop unique design solutions
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to address design challenges
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proactive, resourceful, and willing to go the extra mile under time pressure

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage a team of remote architects and designers
  • Develop and oversee architectural designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand their needs and translate them into design solutions
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards
  • Review and approve architectural plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Mentor and guide team members to enhance their skills and professional growth
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design integrity and quality
  • Stay updated with the latest architectural trends, materials, and technologies
  • Facilitate effective communication within the team and with external partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed Architect with relevant certifications
  • Strong understanding of Irish building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices
  • SketchUp
