Join DuploCloud's growing team as a Solutions Architect Manager! Lead and mentor a team of Solutions Architects, driving technical pre-sales excellence and customer success. Develop and implement standardized methodologies, collaborate with sales leadership, and participate in strategic customer engagements. You will create and maintain best practices documentation, build relationships with key partners, and oversee resource allocation. This role requires 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture and 3+ years of people management experience. We offer a competitive compensation package and a remote-flexible work environment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or similar customer-facing technical roles
- 3+ years of people management experience, preferably leading solutions architects or technical teams
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), container orchestration, and Infrastructure as Code
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing technical teams
- Experience in developing pre-sales methodologies and best practices
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex technical solutions to both technical and business audiences
- Strong background in cloud architecture, cloud migration, and infrastructure automation
- Experience with budget management and resource planning
- Deep understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and modern application architectures
- Expert knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong expertise in container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, ECS)
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD systems and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks and security best practices
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Solutions Architects, providing technical guidance, career development, and performance management
- Develop and implement standardized methodologies for technical pre-sales engagements, POCs, and solution designs
- Collaborate with Sales leadership to define and execute technical pre-sales strategy
- Participate in strategic customer engagements and complex technical discussions
- Create and maintain best practices documentation for solution design and technical pre-sales processes
- Build and manage relationships with key technology partners and stakeholders including AWS
- Play the role of Solutions Architect for your own set of customers
- Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning for the Solutions Architecture team
- Drive continuous improvement in team processes and methodologies
- Contribute to product strategy based on market and customer feedback
