You will guide art direction and strategy across digital platforms, collaborating with designers, product leaders, and marketing teams. Requirements
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
- BA or BFA degree or higher in Art, Graphic Design, Design Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent combination of education and experience specializing in visual design for digital products
- Expert knowledge of digital creative software tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and After Effects)
Responsibilities
- Set a high standard for craft to elevate the quality of UI product design across our products, while balancing usability and function
- Establish a more unified visual and motion design system, leading ways to elevate the overall aesthetics and functionality of our products, and in turn raising customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, brand, and marketing leaders to define and implement innovative strategies that elevate our brand and product communication
- Contribute to the development and refinement of our design system, focusing on motion design elements that enhance user experience and engagement
- Mentor and guide other designers, fostering a culture of creativity, experimentation, and continuous learning within the team
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in brand, animation, motion design, and visual storytelling, integrating innovative techniques and technologies to keep our brand at the cutting edge
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in art direction and design in a creative agency or in-house team or relevant design experience
- Proven experience as an Art Director, Visual Designer and/or Animator in a senior role, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in visual design, storytelling, motion design, and animation
- In-depth knowledge of Figma and Adobe After Effects, with skills in creating dynamic animations and visual effects
- Experience with Cinema 4D is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- A keen eye for aesthetics and detail, with the ability to maintain consistency in brand messaging across various mediums
